Aug 7 & 8, MTB Racin' is on!

Update July 28, 2010: Mountain Bike Racing in Nebraska is back in a big way. August 7th & 8th mark the continuation of the 2010 Nebraska Lottery Psycowpath Series.  And to help celebrate our 20 year anniversary, we've got a whole new weekend of fresh racing coming your way.  You'll have three equal opportunities to earn Psycowpath points in one weekend!

After you register online a few days prior, Saturday morning Aug 7 you'll race the Lewis & Clark Time Trial.  That's right, you get to test your skills in what cyclists the world over refer to as the "race of truth."  Its just you, your bike, and the clock.  Test your mental fortitude and your singletrack skills in one of the Omaha area's best pieces of singletrack, at the Lewis & Clark Monument in Council Bluffs.  First racer starts at 8am!

After your time trial, stretch, eat some lunch, stay hydrated, then make your way across town for theTranquility Tangle STXC (short track)!  Short track events are short, powerful efforts on short laps of wide open gravel, some climbing, and a bit of tight singletrack to keep you on your toes.  STXC events are always a hit with spectators, as family & friends can watch you give it your all on a wide open course and see the race unfold.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday.... its back to traditional XC & Marathon racing with the Tranquility Tire Tantrum!Marathon, Juniors, & Cat 3 Beginners & First Timers start at noon, with Cat 2, Cat 1 & Singlespeed races starting at 2pm.  Make sure you registered online before Friday night!

ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY FOR ALL EVENTS!  You must register seperately for each of the weekend's 3 events, online, in advance.  Registration for all 3 weekend events closes at 8pm on Friday August 6th.  No exceptions!  Registration services provided byRaceRegister.net.

remember the road between the inner loop entrance/exit is off limits when city workers are present. If you are out practicing and they are working in the area, please avoid the gravel road.
