It's Tour Time...

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, it's a mtb blog, but it is Le Tour. Haven't had much to post, or time to post. The shop has been off the hook this week. Does Lance ride a Trek or something.

So let's talk roadie stuff. I'm a big Tom Boonen fan, so the race has started off great for me, tons of fun to watch. McEwen might be able to ride wheelies on his road bike, and be an old BMX'er, but he's dirty and a winer, as stage three showed. Good thing Boonen accidentally went too late in today's sprint, McEwen had his wheel this time and BARELY pulled out the win, wanker.

Poor Dave Zabriskie. He's gotta be one of the coolest guys. Jay T. turned me on to his web site, www.davezabriskie.com check it out, it's pretty funny stuff. I was gutted when he fell yesterday. Props to Armstrong for denying the jersey at today's start, that took a lot of class.

So everyones cheering for Armstrong, well...go Basso. Gotta go for the underdog. I mean, does anyone really have a chance against Armstrong? Probably not. So screw the rest of world cheering for Lance, Go Basso Go.

Oh yeah, everyone should come in and get their daily Lucky 7 scratch tickets. You could win, bikes, cars, parts, vacuum cleaners (what the f$&*). Just come in and get your ticket.

Anyone hear from the firecracker 50 riders? Rox, Ry or Troy?

Don't forget, Sunday at Platte, same bat time, same bat channel.

I will say it again Lance will not be beat. Just look at the Time Trial. Sorry Fat Jan.

even if he doesn't beat armstrong this year, basso is pure class -- my favorite rider in the peloton for sure.

jan looks ripped this year. perhaps he tried too hard to get down to 'fighting weight' and lost some power as a result... that 'head through the back window' incident couldn't have helped him either... i bet we'll see him on fire before the end of the tour, and i'm pretty sure he'll be one of the guys on the podium at the end.

my $.02,

dude, I'm rootin for Vinekourov
that,
and that Tom Boonen and Robbie get into a fist fight and the rest of the sprinters strip that fucker down and duct tape him to a sign at a roundabout and leave him there..

Robbie has pissed me off since he started challenging Zabel for the green years ago.

I think Boonin could take him

Like I said, Lance is going to win, so it won't matter if I'm going for Basso.

I'm having more fun watching the Maillot Vert played out. Boonen got hosed yesterday. Green is such a nice color!
