Proto Tools

Check this out, been workin' with some guys at Park and they sent this new super light carbon fiber reinforced headset wrench. I can't believe how well it works. Too bad nobody uses threaded headsets anymore.

Very modern.
What exactly is the carbon fiber reinforcing, though?
Maybe the holes they cut out for the carbon fiber to fit into?

yeah. what the heck would they do that for? how about a carbon shaft on a philips head screwdriver? so it could be lighter buy 2percent?

Yeah, you know, the center piece of carbon minimizes torque while the outer pieces stiffen the whole wrench. It's totally proto, I might let you guys use it sometime but you'll have to sign a waiver and stuff. It's pretty hush, hush you know.

It's really good at stiffening my ego too. Makes me feel special ;)

I'll have to talk to them about that carbon shaft screwdriver. good idea.
