From Roxz, this friday, sounds cool...
This a really fun event. The art pieces are installed along the hiking trails so you get to eat and drink outside and hike around to see the artwork. Pretty cool. Hope you all can make it. Best to be there early.

Elements: An Environmental Arts Exhibit
8/26 - 10/30 at Fontenelle Forest Nature Center, 1111 Bellevue Blvd. North in Bellevue
Experience the synergy of the elements (earth, air, fire & water) as they interact with the forest in this dynamic outdoor sculpture exhibit installed along the Riverview Boardwalk in Fontenelle Forest. Sculptures were chosen during a blind jury process to appear in the exhibit & for the first time, artists from states in the surrounding region were invited to enter. As a result, we have artists from Omaha, Missouri & Minnesota participating. Our juror was Mark Masuoka, Executive Director of the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art.
Opening Reception, Friday, Aug. 26th, 6-9pm on the plaza at the Fontenelle Forest Nature Center. Free for FNA members, $3 per person for non-members. Meet the artists & juror & enjoy live music, hors d∂oeuvres and a stroll through the forest to see the exhibit.

who put this together? sounds pretty sweet.
I got kicked outta FF once for riding my bike there. It was really sweet until I ran into Ranger Rick.
A good friend of mine is the marketing director there. This is an annual event to help raise $ and also to increase membership. I went a couple years ago and it's really fun. The food is top notch. So get there early (at least before Anne).
RF, Christine Bixby and I are going right around 6 as well.
Oh,and I've mentioned to my friend the IMBA report the proves mt.bikes don't do any worse damage to trails but it didn't matter. They have a lot of flora and fauna that wouldn't survive a missed turn by a biker. I still think an annual bike race would be cool.
Hope to see y'all.
