Back from the father land...

Got in from Madison this morning. Saw lots of cool stuff. It played out like this.

Lance showed up last night for the 70's party. Pretty cool, people were just awe struck. Trek Store in STL won a raffle for a signed jersey. Dan, Jay and crew got to go on stage for a photo. Lincoln crew representin'.

Stacy from KC finished 3rd and won 1/2 the rights to a new Madone in the 70's costume dance off. Nutters made it to the 2nd round, I got robbed and didn't make past round one. Zap and Bob Roll were judging, I think it was a conspiracy cuz Jay made it through to the top ten.

Got to hang with tons of old buddys from the circuit. Fisher, Shandro, Zap and most of the guys that make the stuff that we ride. They've been working hard.

Kent and Jay crushed all dealers on the morning group rides, one more reason why nobody wants to come race in Nee-Brass-Kaw.

Trek, Fish and Lemond have some cool shit this year. The word on the blog must be out. It's got like 700 hits today. Someone linked us in to a forum on MTBR.com and uploaded the spy photos. Someones given me greif for the low res photos. My reply, I saw it all well before you so suck it. I didn't want to lug a bunch of electronic crap on the plane with me. I guess you'll just have to live with my "crappy phone pictures" til you drag your sorry ass to Madison. L8

Now, where was I, oh yeah, the actual name of one of the bikes is the Ferrous. ie. Steel, and if you convert it to SS it has a dummy der hanger that does not include the actual hanger. It's just a face plate on the dropout.

There is also a new Fuel EX 9.5. It gets a OCLV front triangle. lighter+stiffer=better.

'06 is gonna be a good year. Stay tuned for more info. I'll be heading to Vegas baby...Vegas. Interbike. September.

Good luck at Hitchcock everyone.

You know, I don't really get all rilled up about new bikes and stuff. But like I said, the kids in Waterloo nailed it this year.

i was just giving you a hard time...

when i visited trek, way back when, i was pretty impressed how they've combined the marketing office areas stuff with the functional shop bike assembly aspects. on one side of the wall you have guys welding frames and on the other people receiving calls from dealers. made trek seem more down-home.
