Man, that race sucks. Here is the play by play. 1. Fly down hill 2. push up very steep hill 3. see step 1 and repeat..

I told you that place sucks.

there's about 10% fun for 110% effort. there are 2 semi sweet downhill sections. too short for as much work as that place it. climbing or clearing.

we need to be riding potter's pasture.

wah, wah, fucking wah!

hey now. if we had better access that place would be a nice place to ride, eventually. otherwise it's tough to say it's worth the trouble.

We do have access, but not to ride. The ranger told us we could do whatever we wanted to the single track. Of course that would be ludicrous but just FYI. We just need to keep the conversation going so maybe it could someday be open to riders but before that happens, obviously some serious trail building issues need to be addressed. IMBA might be able to educate some people on the topic. Jesse?

Yes it's a hard course. And it will be addressed whether or not it will continue to be part of the series. I'm sorry it was such a miserable experience for some.

i think all of us find "fun" in things we also find miserable. i'll continue to race it (and clean trail when i can) as long as we have it there.

there's a fine fine line between pleasure and pain. and it would be great to get better access for bikes at that park.
