Autumn is here...officially

Once again you'll be able to pick your poison this fall with tons of riding options. Starting with Bike Polo. Got this from the Grumby Old Biker...

Hello Everyone
Its that time of year, POLO TIME. We will start on Sunday the 25th at Swanson Park in Bellevue. I know I was telling everyone Semore Smith but I ran into a problem there. So we are back to Swanson for now. 1:00 till 3:00 come on out and have a good time.
We will see you there. ~Grumpy Old Biker

...Also, looks like Rusty and the usuall suspects will be hitting the log ride session at Manawawa starting soon. 1:00 on sundays was the proposed time. So keep your ears peeled.

And......so many peeps were asking about the Bacon Ride, if interest is high I'll keep it rolling through the fall we'll just start it a bit later so we aren't riding in the dark. Cuz it's always darkest before the dawn. Breakfast buffet and horseback rides end October 3rd. Some folks were talking about meeting post ride at Around the Bend for lunch. Thoughts?

So we've got a full calender for fall riding. Here's the quick listing

Sundays - Bacon Ride 9am, Lunch at Around the Bend Noon?
OR Bike Polo 1pm
OR Log Rides 1pm
Monday - Chica Ride 6:15pm
Thursday - BBC Thursday night ride 6:15pm

And don't forget about the THOR fundraiser at Platte River State Park in conjuntion with the Platte River Riot MTB race, October 29th. Tons of stuff going on that weekend. Word around town is that Fisher pro Cameron Chambers and Trek pro Travis Brown will be in attendance as well as some of Fishers pro dirt jump riders doing a demo. Food, Fun and Bikes, can't be all that bad.

Keep the rubber side down, see ya on the trails. ~MOD

good ridin' with ya' yesterday mod, and everyone else that showed up for bacon. i couldn't believe how many people we had! i didn't even know everybody there, but it was a fun group.

... that'll be the last time you see me doing laps at platte on the stinky. lesson learned. 42lbs = very bad on the steep transition climbs. that bike is easier to ride on climbs in colorado!

happy autumn!

What's a cross race?

What I look like JT, a dumbass?

Everyone is well aware of the cross races and I won't be the only one from Omaha doing them. Don't be surprised if more people show up for the Standing Bear lake race than we've ever had at a NE CX race. I've been pumping everyone pretty hard. When will I have a poster or something for the store?

...but there is other stuff to do this fall if cross isn't your cup of tea. It does happen to be my cup of coffee though. That's all I'm sayin'. So just chill, til the next episode.

Don't answer that second question, JT. We don't want to spoil MOD's fun.

Thanks for pumping up the Cross Series and all the other FUN cycling stuff that happens in the fall.
