AmeriCorp will be advertising a mountain bike ride at Lake Manawa trails for all ability levels on Oct 9th at 2PM. The purpose of the ride is to get out and enjoy the outdoors, promote fitness and an active lifestyle along with the opportunities in the park. AmeriCorp has partnered with Lake Manawa to promote the park and improve it's image. More details to come.

Let me know what's up with this Rusty. I would love to send someone (me & Pancakes) out with a tent and stuff just to be out there and talk about how cool mountain biking is.
Does THOR have a photo album of people building trails and doing advocacy. And has anyone tracked how many hours THOR puts into maintaining and building trails. Between you and LtD (Manawa), JP, MG, Bootch and 3PO (Platte) how many hours have been put in this year, 80? 100?
This would be a great event to showcase what THOR has accomplished and grow membership. I know Mitch has photos from the Trail Care Crew weekend. We could be there with a photo album, some statisitics on trail building and maintanence and some membership forms.
What do you think about making up some THOR socks, to sell or give away to members? I have a viable source.
