Sometimes you play the lottery ane win...

...and we won big today. Massive turnout for the Bacon ride. 19 peeps! Lots of new faces and many familiar ones. I almost didn't go but after watching several radar updates on TWC it looked like South Bend was dry. My gamble was rewarded when I pulled into the Wild Turkey lot. Ddiddy and Shawn were already there and then more cars just kept rollin' in. Trails could still use some moisture, really dusty.

JP brought Frankie along for her virgin platte ride. Looks like she's hooked. We always need more ladies on the trails.

Big shout out to Scott for cleaning the rock garden. He floated through it pretty smooth.

Iron Turkey award for MW and Wolfman, rode out, did a lap, and rode home. Keeping the epics alive.

Sucker awards for me, MG and T-bone for not pullin' off the log ride. We suck!

I'd like to thank the meth head for getting his car stopped before I T-boned on Hwy 50 at 65mph. I didn't think the idiot would get his frikin' mobile meth lab blazer stopped in time. I did get a nice insight into my life up to this point.

Bacon buffet was x-sell-ant as usuall. With so many folks chowin' we took over the deck.

Next week may be the last installment of the year for the bacon ride. The lodge is closing up so no more buffet. Good news is horses are done for the season after next weekend so the park is ours. If there's enough interest in keeping the ride going we can bump it back to 9am and go from there.

Yuntu?

9 am would've worked for me this morning. Couldn't wake up for the 7 am ride. I'll be there next week!

Darn! The weekend we pick to sleep in and it's a record attending day. With a new chica, no doubt! We went out for b-fast, thinking about y'all.

Next week for sure! Maybe we could do the ride, eat and then head to Omeeha for bike polo at Swanson. I heard that started today too.

So much two-wheelin fun!

We need to get that log ride dialed in. SS next week and I'm not leaving till I clean the log.

BTW: big turnout for bike polo, 15 people showed up. There were some sweet wipeouts and some broken parts. Mia was playing smash up derby and broke one of my spokes.
