Day 13: I think???

Took off from the shop a bit early today. Hooked up with CVO out at Plizatte for some last minute clean up before the big weekend. We're getting ready to go off for the 3rd weekend in a row. Not only will Travis Brown and Cameron Chambers be in attendance but looks like Mr. World Champ Steve Tilford will be making his 2nd trip in as many weeks up here to the cornhusker state. Should be a hell of a race. Should be a hell of a party.

Gotta welcome all the visitors checking in from Drunk Cyclist. Hope you all enjoy what you see. If you're ever in the neighborhood. Log in to the Blog and find a ride. There's always something going on.

Big shout out to good buddy Butch. Just picked up the management job at The Bike Way. Welcome back, good luck, and congrats buddy. You said it, you've come full circle. Good to have ya.

Anyway, back to this weekend and more so back to tonights outing. JLj groomed the XC course to near perfection, Dale and I hooked up with CVO just as he was finishing the entry to the gully, Myself, Rick, Gus, CVO and Dale finished up the loops on OO1 and that pert neer does it. JP showed up just in time to...ride...along with T-bone and RF. But, we're ready to roll for the weekend festivities. Had a huge group for a weekday Platte ride. Felt like a Sunday AM Bacon ride. Close to 25 showed for a sweet bacon night ride. I've never ridden Platte at night. Gotta do it again soon. Photos tomorrow...

Actually, now that I think about it, I did ride solo once before. I tagged a tree so frickin' hard. It stopped me cold. Thought I broke my shoulder. Just had to sit there on my top tube for a couple of minutes. last night was much better. Athough I got purdy close to some of those tress.

To all -
Thanks for your work on the trails for this weekend. I can't wait to put rubber to dirt. Let's hope the pros take back with them a great time here in corn country and that they spread da word about us.

And, altogether now, what is da word?

SWEEEEEEEEEEEET!
