If you're not out at Jewell park this morning you better get moving. As you can see everyone who's anyone is out helping create our newest riding area. MIB and the Deal got it marked out and it's really coming together. I got out about 7:15 and started grooming. Had to take off early to get to shop to open it up. As I came over the hill I couldn't believe how many people were there working. It looked like there were about 3 groups, two groups of about 12 people and 1 smaller group of about 5. And let me tell you, the trail is going to be sweet bacon. Thanks for the photo upload RF, I tried to send a couple but couldn't get the old mobile blogger to work. Can't wait to ride it! ~MOD

How about a return route in Wilderness!! Bring the tools, set the date...
Man, being out in the woods building stuff with your buddies is the best.
congrats on the new trail guys
As for the return route in wilderness I for one would love to just go out there and start building stuff,
But. my trail building has been put on hold untill permission...
now fucking around with downed tree's off the side of the trail. well, that may be a different story.
as soon as we get permission, I'd be out there every day till it was done...
Awesome day at Jewell! Over 30 people helping out throughout the day. I think coffee and bagels did the trick. Thanks to everyone that showed up!
Great to see the THOR bug is biting in Lincoln! Hope y'all can get permission. That is the hardest part, unless you ride with the defacto Mayor of Bellevue. Then it only takes 3 days!!
If you mapquest Main St and Combs Road interesection in Bellevue, NE 68005, you will have the location of Jewel Park. If you want the tour, just shoot me an e-mail. I live less than 2 minutes from the park. I can try and sneak out and ride it with ya.
Cheers - MIB
I sure wish I was doing that instead of working on the weekend. Nice job guys, I am going to check it out later on Sunday afternoon, then on to Manawawawa.
Great work everyone. I would have been there but I've been in Portland since Wednesday. Omaha is getting some serious trails. It's great how many sweet places we have to ride. Here in Portland they have lots of places to ride but traffic sucks and it usually takes an hour to get anywhere. I'm going to try and make it out there Tuesday at 4 if anyone wants to join me.
