You ride 'em, you love 'em, maybe you hate 'em. But, now is your chance to make the trails you ride better. Maybe you don't have any trail tools, that's okay, THOR has some extras. If you've got a rake, a shovel, pruning shears, bring 'em along with some sturdy work gloves and help lend a hand. Nothings more satisifying than riding a trail you helped build. Plus, the more people that show up means the faster the work gets done which means the sooner we get to ride! Here's the skinny...
All members and non-members alike are reminded that your help is needed with trail expansion projects this fall. Both Jewel Park and Tranquility Park have workdays scheduled this weekend, November 12th and 13th.
JEWEL PARK, BELLEVUE: This Saturday, November 12, from 8am - Noon. We will be clearing and grooming the initial sections of the trail we have mapped out. This is a great chance to check out first hand the newest off-road park in the area. Coffee and Bagels will be provided. If you would like to help out, please RSVP to Kent at Kent@HighgearOmaha.com
TRANQUILITY PARK, OMAHA: Sunday, November 13, from 1pm-3pm. We will put in the Phase 3 addition and some other projects, depending on turnout. If you would like to help out, please RSVP to team leader Dale R. at tpmbt@cox.net Bring your bike and ride your work afterwards.
