Meltin' snow means...

...road rides on the CX bike. Got out early today as to miss the run-off slop. Just made it back in time, it was starting to get messing around 10am. I left about 8:30 and headed north to Ponca hills. The climb through Humel is pretty icey and snowy yet. Had a near death experience on the backside, really icey over there. Otherwise most of the roads are pretty clear, just a little damp, but not enough to really kick up onto you bike and legs. I stayed dry.

Anyone else been out on any other routes?

I don't know if I want it melt and dry off, or snow and stay frozen? But old man winter better make up his mind cuz this slop has got to go.

Oh!!! You suck! Why'd you have to go and bring that up? We're riding in crap and you're off in Fruita?

Glad you had a good time, just wish I was there.

Me and the roadie boys did a road ride Saturday and gravel roads on Sunday. You got some catching up to do, maybe this weekend lets see how things shape up. They are off to Cali for three weeks, so the pace should be a little more tame.
