Anyone interested in putting on a race in the future (ie, a 12 hr at manawa???) should attend the Officials & Promoters Clinic this Saturday in Lincoln.
You'll learn how to successfully promote an event (make it popular with lots of people), official rules regarding NORBA racing, how to backdate the tasks necessary for a quality event, and meet others who make decisions in the NE cycling scene. Learning how to do it from folks that have lots of experience can save LOTS of stress down the road.
