I'm a baby! Waaaaaaaaaaaaa! So I haven't put any 4 wheel stuff up for a while, but I know there's some closet F1 fans out there so if you don't like F1 just ignore me.
Now I won't contest that Michael Schumacher is probably the most talented driver many of us will ever see drive an F1 car (although if Senna had not died...). And it's no secret that I'm not exactly Schuey's biggest fan, but I'm going to straight up call the guy a SAD ASS now (sorry cc). The latest article on F1 racing dot com has Schuey quoted as saying "If I can't win I'll quit". Granted the guy has won more championships than anyone (seven), but come on, if I can't win I'll quit!
He even goes as far to say that Ferrari need more people and money in the team to win, yet they already have one of, if not the biggest payroll and budget of all F1 teams! UH!
Sounds to me like he should just tuck his tail and go hide out in his Monaco villa and hug all the millions of dollars he's been overly paid and leave the racing to the racers. You're welcome, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out!
So who's the bigger champion, Armstrong winning seven and bowing out gracefully? Or Schumacher winning seven, greedily trying for eight, losing, then proclaiming if he can't win he'll quit?

Danica Patrick RULES!!!!
Ahhh, now we're talking. I just think it's funny that he says he's going to quit if he can't win. If Coulthard took that approach he would have been out in 1997.
Shummi, as you like to refer to him, may or may not be the best ever. I've seen him choke plenty when the chips were down and he was really being challenged. The fact that he's won seven had a lot to do with the size of the Ferrari pocket book. I remember watching Senna drive in amazement, much like Schumacher at a wet Spa. Schuey hasn't been challenged since Hakkinen retired (until 2004)
Isn't part of the challenge trying to take a less than perfect car and make it into a winner. Call it competitive drive. Alonso is looking for a new challenge, and is moving on to find one. Schuey had it when he left Benneton.
Nice fire though byte me.
I really only used the Armstrong comparison cuz they've both won seven.
But what's to come this season? Interesting question. I'm excited to see an american in it with Scott Speed. Too bad he'll be fighting not to get lapped multiple times.
I love it, it's a crap shoot. Cosworth should be good for something with all their V8 knowledge, so Williams may be better off than expected (I think they're using Cosworth, cant' quite remember). Red Bull has Newey and Ferrari power. BMW is rebuilding. Ferrari? Mclaren? Renault? Toyota?
But so you know, Mclaren's my team, but I've always got my eye on the team of the rising sun, Honda. Button and Barrichello will be a tough combo.
...and there will be 22 cars on the grid, that's sweet, in a bacon kind of way!
Schummi calm under pressure! Yeah right! What was it, '97 when he cleaned out JV and then subsequently got relegated in the championship. The guy cracks when people push him. Especially now that he has two real competitors in Alonso and Raikonen.
Bridgestone probably is to blame, but if Ferrari would be proactive instead of reactionary they wouldn't be in that situation. Mclaren first made the switch to Bridgestone and put it to the Ferrari/Goodyear package. Once Ferrari monopolised Bridgestone, other teams split off to Michelin, putting it to Ferrari again.
Michael is one of best, but not THE BEST. Is Armstrong a Merckx? Hell NO.
2006 is going to be the best F1 season in the last decade.
Well if we're going to go there, it could have been 9 had he not stalled it on the grid at Suzuka. Cough, cough...
I agree though, when Micheal drives in the wet it's caculated insanity, I true sight to behold. I remember watching in amazement.
Anyway, hit the F1 Racing link on the sidebar, there's pics of an interim Mclaren in bright orange. Pretty cool. I like Mclaren, I like orange, bring on Jerez...
