After yesterday's mega climbing ride, I thought I'd stay on a ridge today a took to Bellevue Blvd. Of course as soon as I got to Hayworth the wind kicked up out of the Northwest. I cruised by Jewell and it's definitely freeze/thaw conditions. If you wanna ride dirt, get out before 9am. The next couple of days should help. I know Rusty and LtD were checking out Manawa today. Hit the ride link on the sidebar for the TNR details.

Manawa is thumbs up for the TNR. My guess in yesterday it probably wasn't acceptable but today it was ok. Still moist but the trail is hard and packed out. Because Manawa is almost pancake flat the same erosion concerns and tire damage doesn't apply. The soil is also very sandy. Really just another 1-2 days from excellent conditions at Manawa. My guess is Swanson should be avoid for at least another week, but I am sure there will be those who chose to tear the crap out of that place this weekend. Not sure on L&C, Todd thought it might be rideable by Thursday??? Todd or Dan any updates?
I went to check out Swanson tonite, bailed after about 10 minutes, its about 90% and the trail pirates have already been active, Martin and Christine need to schedule the first work day soon. You can put me down as a team member.
L&C good to go today-- thursday! its perfect
