I just receved this from Intense, looks like someone else is getting in on the 29er market.

Intense is pleased to announce the birth of a new frame the Spider 29. Our plans are to begin production of this frame in the late spring for an early to mid summer release. The Spider 29 will be available three sizes: medium, large, & extra large. This frame has generated a lot of buzz with our customers, and on the Mountain Bike Review forums.

I had a pretty long chat with Jeff Steber at Interbike about how big niners were in the midwest and he seemed really into them.

If it rides anything like my 5.5, it's gonna be good. How is it that my longest travel bike is also the most efficent fullsusser I've had? And yeah, Intense makes aggressivly good handling bikes.
29ers are dumb.
