ok, is it time?

Allright, all anyone wants, sponsors, fans, competitors..... is a good competition and a good race. And Sponsors want their names out there. Thats all. And maybe we can do that with drugs. A race full of nearly-equally amp'ed/drug'ed up competitors is still fun to watch, and still makes me think of the sponsors, and still see the repeated ads on OLN. For the guys at the back of the pack.... maybe next year they'll take the right drugs. Or find better sponsors so they can afford better drugs. Sorry fellas.

So is it time for Lance to come out and just say that doping is okay, and that rampant use of performance enhancing drugs in competition is helping to drive the medical science forward? And better medical science is good for everybody?

Holy crap. This is unbelievable. Might as well throw out all speculation by all magazines about how this Tour is going to end. The 2 biggest names, Jan and Basso are out, so that means all the people that were originally shooting for 3rd have a chance now.

I've been wondering about this over the past few years. It seemed like every stage was getting a new course record in the past years. And I don't think the talent pool has gotten that much stronger. You could hear it in Phil Liggetts voice when he would mention that the average speed for a stage was so much higher than in previous years. Like he wanted to mention, "probably due to doping," afterwards.

Well, maybe this will send all the sponsors back over to mountain biking and it will make a huge comeback. I sure wouldn't mind.

Anyone remember Jerome Chiotti, EPO user and 1996 MTB World Cross Country Champion? At least he had the class to own up to it and give the rainbow jersey to Frischknecht.
