We're in

Its official. Yesterday Roxy sent in the goods. Hardcore Harlan, Special K, Rox and I just signed up for 24 Nationals at Nine Mile. Coed-Open division. I hope Alison Dunlap shows up. Cuz Rox is ready to lay down the hammer.

It's a motley crew, fo sho, but its a fast crew. Hardcore Harlan, well, he can ride forever and not show fatigue. He proved that last year at 24 HRs at Seven Oaks. And he makes a damn fine cup a coffee at 3am. And anyone that regularly wakes up at 4am to train so it doesn't interrupt family time is definitely on a mission. Special K just got his cat 2 upgrade on the road, so, yeah, he's fast, if we can keep him on the trail. Its like watching a 14 year old learn to drive in an F1 car. And Rox, she's been putting in more miles than me in the last month, and unlike me, she's a natural athlete, so I am excited to see the results. Plus, she's got more competition and mental toughness cooped up inside that head than should be allowed. At 4am, when you're bitchin about fixin a flat, she'll set ya straight, tell ya to shut the hell up and go win this thing. And she means it. So its on. Like pac-man.

We're even considering doing the lincorn guys one-siz-two bizness the week before for that list bit of "training." Hopefully they'll be cool with me pullin the bob blasting my bon jovi collection.

Sweet! Hopefully I'll be up there too. Y'all should pit next to us and Cam, the defending 24 hour national champ.
