Kickin' it off
3 friends came over early this morning. My old buddy, Morning Cup of Coffee, showed up with with Mr. Mountain Stage and they brought a new friend, Lincoln Ve-Low. I was excited to see Mr. Mountain Stage as it's been almost a year since I've seen him. The new guy, Lincoln Ve-Low, seems to be a nice chap... okay, fine, back to reality.
Anyway...
Lincoln Ve-Low has now migrated to the fine metropolitan city of Omaha. Thad sent me a handful of copies. I have them at the shop, so for 2 bucks you can read up on the local scene.
In other worthy news, Fisher has launched it's new HiFi frame featuring Genesis 2.0 geometry. Read the full story on the bike that will replace the Cake.
And for all you big wheel fools out there, Bontrager is set to release a new wider, 28mm rim, that just happens to be tubeless compatible. A full range of tires will also be available. I best wait for a bit before building up that new wheelset. Oh yeah, it's also said to drop over 300 grams from the current race x-lite set-up.
