Hooked up with some boy's to parrallel the ladies ride last night on the Wabash. This was the first time I have actually had the oppurtunity to ride the entire singletrack along the Wabash. Scott and Tim have built an absolutly smoking trail. 18.5 miles, probably 17 miles of singletrack out and back. Sections are challenging on the way out with some tempo and flow disruptions. The return trip however has crazy flow. I felt I was descending in the Mountains. A totally free trail (that is other than the buck you pay for daily use of the trial). Gravity pulls you through the twists and turns with only a few light pedal strokes needed on the gentle rises. Get out and ride it.
According to Josh we experienced the Tyndall effect tonight on the trail. And I thought I was just experiencing a higher power, silly me.
The one-6-two tuned into a century double nickel ride. Read the story, see the pics at Good Problem.
Folks are gearing up for the 24-9. Sam is heading out with select FFLs as are R&R. It's the National Championships, YO, stars and bars are on the line. Good luck kids.
