Hey all,

Finally getting around to posting a little update. I'll try to keep it short for all of you with ADD. I must say I look at this blog everyday. Still a little homesick, but waking up looking at Pikes Peak every morning eases the pain. Working for the man at Pikes Peak Regional Humane Society. Playing by all the rules, (well most). Training like crazy to get faster. Lost a lot of skin trying to keep up with the fast company here. Cool and heck riding with the big names here. Thought I'd list of few things I miss most about the Big O. -L & C on Sunday mornings with Pauli.

-Trying to hold Spences wheel on the Wed nite ride.
-Watching J.B., Dan, and the Bike Way gang doing their downhill thing.
-Trail maintainance, yeah right.
-Hooking up with my little sister's friends.
-McNeil kicking my ass every mtn bike race I ever did.
-The Real Deal calling me Smokedog, and being a stone cold pimp.
-Sitting on Shim's wheel for 75 miles, (remember that one?)
-Ryan and Roxy's holiday parties, (and all Roxy's hot friends from work)
-Going to Lincoln on Wednesdays for "coffee". MG, Jose', Woodman, you guys always put the party in highgear. Who could forget Woodman's performance in Cedar Rapids.
-The wisdom and counsel of my good friend Doug Ringer, we had too few rides together.
-Most of all, I miss the ambassador of our sport, the guy who took me on my first mtn bike and got me into the sport, the one who I remember with every ride. Make sure you freaks raise a glass at the Pub Crawl next week to Highlander, Tony Naikelis, The T-Dog.

What's up dude? It was awesome seeing you the other week. Stoked you figured out the posting thing. Now let's see some pictures of all that sweet riding you're doing in the Springs.

Good to hear life's treatin' you well Mike. We all miss having you around, but it sounds like you're doing good work out there, and the riding is... well, it's colorado.

i miss tony too, and i think about him a lot. i'm hoping to make it up to the pub crawl next weekend, so i'll be sure to raise my glass to him at least a couple of times.

Mike,
I could be wrong, but are those the Chutes behind you? Just outside the entrance to Cheyenne Canyon? I am a C Springs native. I saw you and Greg S. on the road this past July.
