Back in the loop

Yeah, I've been MIA for little bit. Lot of stuff going on and not of the bike riding kind. But I'm back on it now. 4 hours in 3 weeks, not so good. But the suns out and temps are up.

Speaking of the good ole Bellevue Blvd. I got out on the road bike today. Hit the Keystone, Bellevue loop and the Blvd. Beware of the underpasses. Had to walk my bike through a couple. Really icey. The snow melt run-off is crap. Even with clip on fenders I got pretty wet. Got to ride in knickers though. first exposed skin ride of the year.

You got one more day to get out before the rains/snow returns.

...bittersweet.

On the race side. I got an e-mail from TP in KC. In his words..."It sounds like it would be ok if the weather holds out and there is no rain. That said...........80% chance of rain on Saturday and possibly more on Sunday. If it rains it will be a sloppy mess." I really want to race but man, 45 and wet and muddy. May have to hold out for the enduro. Hmmmmmm.

Damon is heading down for sure, haven't heard a yay or nay from T-bone or Rick.

Meant to give Damon and Rick a shout out a couple of weeks ago. They've taken the plunge and built up a pair of two-niner SS's. Looks like the singlespeed field will be pretty stacked this year.

TNR may be in icey jeopardy. Trails are, well, mega wet. It's not going to freeze and the ice on the bike paths won't have me hitting those again. Anyone have any ideas.

How about Gravel roads?
Should be ok, we will get dirty but they were ok on Sunday.
We got a 60 mile ride in.
We could meet at Shims if he's ok with it.
Ride Capeheart to Gretna and back.
About a 1 1/2- 2 hour ride.

They race rain or shine so I'm in. Rick is on call this weekend so he can't go. Still waiting to hear back from a few people.
