Get Your Groove On

Trails are DRY!!!

Yep, I said dry...okay, damp but very rideable

Annie and I rode Swanson with Showen, T-bone, Charlie, Martin and Kev. Quite a few peeps out on the trail. Saw the Bartels clan, Nicole, Bill and a few others

So here's the run down...

Swanson...Sweet

Manawa...Rusty says it's a go

Tranquility...RF rode there, says even the low trails are good

L&C...Not sure, but it's gotta be slimey

Platte...Showen rode it Saturday, said it's pretty good

Jewell...no word

Wabash...I would think the trail is good, singletrack is probably questionable. When Annie and I skied it there was a ton of deep drifts.

Read about the Wabash at the link below. Sorry I don't know how to make it a link in blogger.

I hiked Lewis and Clark Sunday and the conditions are good. Watch for downed trees and low hanging branches because there is a couple. But overall condition at L&C are good. The damage from last week is packed down and smoothing out nicely

We had 13 put in about 26 hours of trailwork on Tranquility Sunday afternoon. Thanks Leah, Dan C., Rodney, Dan H., Adam, Zac, Ryan, Tim, Greg, Emily, and Doug.

About 10 bags of trash picked up, blocked trail opened up, new log over installed, trail cooridor trimmed back, rutted doubletrack crossing sanitized, and though doubted by most, a 50' tree trunk for skill development pulled into place with a minivan!

We will be having the first Monday night ride on dirt in 07 tonight! We leave Bike Masters at 6 and will be by the Fort St parking lot by 6:10. Come on out and ride! There is one muddy section between the two rock crossings by the parking lot, otherwise tacky and moist.

Annie and I rode Manawa tonight with T-bone and Charlie. Chad and Rich were tearing it up as well. Trail is a bit more tore up than Swanson, mostly from deer. But all in all, it's purdy good.

First Day of Spring Swanson Update

The rain today softened Swanson back up. It is greasy and unridable for another day or so. If no rain I project it will be bombable on Thursday.
