Many miles of dirt...
Looks like most people hit the road today but T-bone, Evie, Enna and I hit the Wabash. Singletrack was a bit muddy when we rolled out so we had to stick to the trail. Some horses got on the main trail for the first couple miles or so and really jacked it up. Good news is the Wabash board of directors has voted to ban horses from the wabash corridor. So the Singletrack is officially bike only!!! Put on your bell though, it's two way traffic and some sections are high speed.
The wind was brutal on the way out but we finally rolled into Malvern to find ourselves in an amonia cloud as we passed the co-op. Made the eyes burn a bit but we found someone in town that made a call and got the leak taken care off. A round of cheeseburgers and chocolate malts got us fueled for the cruise home. On the way back I decided to give the singletrack a shot and it was surprisingly good. Little slow but rideable. Even Evie and T-bone hit it on their CX bikes.
Final tally, 51 miles on dirt, 3 miles of singletrack, 1 gear (enna & I), fat tires and way too much shammy time.
Thinking Swanson tomorrow, 5ish, after todays temps and wind, trails should be good.

so its evie now?
Looks like you all had a great ride and too much fun. I saw Martin yesterday and he was on his way up to L&C to help remove the downed trees. I ran a lap at Manawa on Sunday afternoon and the trails were dry.
That was a fun day. I can't believe riding road bikes can be fun too. Next time let's go all the way to Shenandoah (44.4 miles each way).
