What's the riding conditions???

I went for a run down at Manawa (still off the bike for another 5 weeks) Saturday night and the conditions are soft but rideable. There is just a few soft sections. Manawa is unique due to the high sand content and flat terrain, making it almost immune to erosion. Manawa is good to go!

Lewis and Clark is probably a bit slimely. Due to the hills and soft conditions, making riding there an erosion issue, I recommend a few more days of drying time. I'll go out and check it out in the next few days. If anyone knows otherwise please chime in.....

Swanson???? My guess people are riding there and it is getting chunked up. I know Martin was trying to police it earlier. I wish new riders would realize if you're leaving tire ruts, you should not be on the trail.

Rusty,

Posted this yesterday after a couple laps around Swanson.

Swanson is rideable once again for the most part. There are several very soft spots that remain and several areas you need to deviate around the saturated spots. Tread lightly in the wet areas.

Need folks to smash down the ruts inconsiderate ones left earlier this week.

Most importantly....the Polo Field is nearly dry, base ball diamonds are still a little soft. Game on!
