You knnow it's spring when...top ten

1. When you see a rider without a helmet riding backwards at Swanson on a Magma
2. When the trails are jacked up and rutted because people have been riding off road when it's too wet to ride.
3. The birds become audible in the morning on the ride into work.
4. When you are pushin' up the hill that you climbed last fall.
5. When you are comparing the size of your teammates' butt to yours.
6. When you are lookin' for ways to get out of work early to go ride.
7. When you elbow your teammate for the early season victory...or run over them in the first corner without hestitation (shim/t-bone)
8. When you trade New Belgium beer for tune-ups. (travis)
9. When you think riding success is seeing your name in the paper talking about riding (mod)
10. When you are blinded by your friends white legs (showen)

Now, add your own.

(List compiled by enna and others)

p.s. happy spring!

11. Your first lap takes 1 1/2 hours because you spend most of it tossing tree limbs off the trail.

Jewell report:

I took a walk there tonight, so it's clean as a whistle, though still a bit squishy. No ruts, thank goodness, only deer tracks. By next weekend the above rule(which seems to apply year round at Jewell) will probably be back in effect.

Mod starts talking like a rider, then skips out to go to a movie.

And before the rest of you say it, "Shim starts making a lot of smart ass comments and taking jabs at his friends."

MOD, did my butt look ok on the TNR?

it good seeing everyone getting out, seeing a lot of new bikes, and some more new riders.

sounds like the race scene should be good if all of us back up the talk of racing.

SS will be stacked with new bikes and riders, lots of new and some old expert open guys, and hopefully the same with expert masters.

get your friends and family to come out and race, have them try the metrO races if there not sure if they'll like it or confident enough yet.
It's only $10.
