Just received an email from the Heartland Series about this Sundays race. Crowder is located in Trenton, MO:
The weather is warming and the riding is perfect. The trails are groomed and ready for some knobby good times.
Due to the "rave reviews" by racers at the 2006 Crank-N-Cruise, the same 5 mile race loop will be utilized for the 2007 race. Beautiful Camp Grand River will serve as the race venue for the weekend and will allow free primitive camping in designated areas. Racers are encouraged to arrive on Saturday, preride, and enjoy a communal campfire on Saturday night.
Saturday night festivities include a rider feed provided by Hy-Vee. The feed will include grilled burgers, hot dogs, chicken and sides. A drink is also included. $7 per person. The feeding starts at 5:30pm.
We also have a couple of bunkhouses available for those that want an option to the primitive camping. All you need to provide is a sleeping bag, etc. $3 per person.
Reservations are reqired for the rider feed and the bunkhouses. Please contact Doug Long dlong@we.rr.com

I am up for going if the weather permits, who else is in?
I'm in. Damon is going and Ragdoll Rick is trying to get out of work so he can go. I think R&R and some of the BikeMasters crew are also going. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather.
I'm in with cornbread if we get rained out up here and the weather is good down there...
I can't remember crowder from last year, how does she do in the rain?
