For anyone heading out to LNC I suggest LOTS of bug spray. I was out there last night and was swarmed by them little blood suckers anytime I stopped for more than 10 seconds.
Yep, it's true they are out there in full force. I have to say sorry to Leah. After her telling me up at the top to not worry about her and me saying that isn't the point of the chica ride...I lost sight of her last night mainly b/c of those pesky mosquitos! I circled back to see how she was doing but couldn't find her. By the time I got to the top she had headed out. Leah, where did you turn around?
I took the beginner route, so I was ahead of you. Sorry about the confusion since I didn't get a chance to tell you.
I cut out at neverrest. But I did most of the trail. I would have tried to stay with you, but I hadn't eaten anything except some onion rings since 11 that morning, so my stomach hated me.

When I saw her she said she was feeling sick and was heading home.
