Midwest Cycling Club MTB Ride is at Jewel

Nick and I will be riding Jewel Thursday night at 6:15 pm.
Everyone is invited to join our group ride, not trying to compete with the Manawa TNR we just want to ride some hills to get ready for 4 hours of Ponca Saturday. Hope to see you there, or go check out every ones hard work at Manawa.
Just get out and ride.

I also hope to see a lot of Omaha racers at Ponca this Saturday, if you haven't been there it's worth the couple hour drive. Plus the guys putting it on always try to make the drive here to support our local racing.

Thanks for pluggin Ponca. You're right, Jay and his team do a TON to keep Ponca rideable, and a lot of them come down and do our races around here. They love to see Lincoln and Omaha folks come up and enjoy their trails. And you get a good four hours to do so.

A few of us LP/Lemond guys are gonna be up there enjoying the heat. In fact, I've heard a rumor that Jonny Randall might come out of the woodworks to, uh, put in work in the woods. Hope to see everyone there.

Have fun at Jewell sloggy in the heat and humidity

Us TNR kids will be kickin' it with cool temps and sweetly groomed singletrack by the river!!!

BMCC has a standing ride at Tranquility every Thursday night besides the one on Monday.

The local mtb scene is fortunate having options to ride different trails and see different people.

I'm thinking of riding cross town to Manawa, maybe I'll swing by Jewel for a lap and walking some hills on the way over. Maybe leave earlier and ride a lap on Swanson too since it would be on the way.

did you mention Jonny Randall? at ponca? sweet! I'll call Jay Chesterman to have him put up some foam pads on the tree-lined downhill runs.

What's the plan for eats (and refreshing beverages) after Manawa? :-)

You pick Tim, I'm in.

Make sure the restaurant has air so MOD doesn't work up a sweat.

RF, I noticed you planned your vacations so you could miss both marathons. Too bad you didn't have a race schedule.

if only that PR guy would post the schedule on NC earlier. damn.
