It was a perfect day for a race at LNC today.
Had new faces at the top of both Expert classes and SS.
I had to walk my bike out the first lap after a combination of mechanical problems but it would of been real hard to hang with the top guys.
A big thanks to my brother Nick for letting me do the last 3 laps on his new Hi-Fi Pro.
I figured I was there so might as well finish up even though I had no chance of catching anyone.
Congrats to Aaron Grady for his 1st win as a Expert and his very impressive sub 27 minute lap average.
Kevin Wilkens had a great race winning the Masters with Jesse Petersen not to far back.
I believe Nate Woodman of MWC took 1st place in the SS class

yeah, it was a good time...
Amazing. So when is Mr. Zero(bodyfat) going pro?
The mtb scene was very fortunate with all the rain recently to get this race in! Little or no rain Friday, and it waited till the awards ceremony at 3 to show at L&C! In between, we were treated to a challenging course that was tacky and power sucking, yet not muddy. Thanks to Bike Way Racing for hosting this race!
Congrats to everyone who came out and raced or cheered others on! Great job to several who kept on racing (by pushing their bikes) and finished even after mechanicals dropped them down the results board. Josh and Kevin come to mind, but I saw a couple flat tires as well.
Ugh, I shoulda road home. Anyone else not able to get out of bed as easily this morning?
Awesome race, folks. Jennifer from Bike Way had never even been to a Psycowpath race, let alone put one on. She and her family and the Bike Way guys did an outstanding job. Thank you!
Congrats to everyone who participated. Everyone is a winner who finishes there.
And we couldn't have asked for better conditions. Thanks THOR members and volunteers for keeping the course race ready throughout the week.
Also, a reporter from the Council Bluffs Non Pariel was there interviewing people and taking photos. Keep an eye out for some news about the race!
