I did handicap myself a little the night before sitting by the campfire enjoying some adult beverages but I feel I placed about the same of as would of. I may of been able to hold of getting lapped(on the course) and hang closer with 2nd and 3rd but never could of did 11 lap just over 4 hours, I think he was 30 seconds off of being able to start a 12th lap.(and I'm sure Aaron would of )
I battled cramps from lap 2 on, which is was a new experience for me(not fun!). I'm hoping the mental battle I had for the last 3 hours will get me ready for the Breckenridge 100.

Aaron was by far the strongest MAN of the day, as I was walking the bottom section of the last hill due to severe cramps I heard the bells ringing and everyone cheering. I got back on my bike and starting climbing hoping I could hold off getting lapped before the end off 4 hours but as I looked back and seen the green jersey coming all I could due was pull over and tell him what a awesome job he did. I know there were many of us fellow racers that enjoyed watching him and his family enjoy what he had accomplished.

As for the rest of the racers-

Nick Limpach and Mark Butler challenged a couple juniors(a Holmes boy and his friend) to a race as they were the only 2 teams to enter. Nick and Mark came out on top with 9 laps, but the boys hung in fighting it out all day.

Sydney Brown 1st
Donna Homles 2nd
? 3rd

Sorry we missed the main event. Looks like it was the race to be at. Congratulations all.

Aaron, the Green Machine. No flats, I take it?
