TNR and into the weekend

Excellent turn out for last nights TNR at Manawa. Temps were cool, and the trail is crazy fast. On Monday I thought we were cutting the trail back too far but it turned out to be just about perfect. You get slapped a little bit while you're leaning into the corners but hey, what's mountain biking without getting whipped by a few weeds. Who want's to ride on golf course, right?

Tim had an equipment malfunction, which effected RF as well.

Big weekend ahead, Ponca Marathon is tommorrow. Looks to be a cooker. Good thing they have a swimming pool at the park. Thanks to Jay and crew for picking up this race and cleaning the trails. Ponca is one of my favorite places to ride and camp. Gotta work the whole weekend so no racing for me.

Bacon ride is on for Sunday. As stated above, I'm working the whole weekend so Annie and I will be driving out to hit the trail at 7am, Showen's in too, chow at 9, then hit the road and back to the shop.

Don't forget Monday trail day at Swanson too.

Yes, definitely an equipment malfunction and not a lack of rider skill or anything of those sorts ... :-)

I saw it, purely equipment...

Oh yeah, how's Dan's face after his dirt dinner.
