MMBC wrap up
What an awesome day at the park. Annie and I got out early and rode the new Fisher 29'rs and then some. The MMBC race was sweet to watch. Had a good time as always with the boys and girls from LNK/OMA. Met the new Lincoln ladies and watched the fast boys throw down. The best part for me was watching the kids race. The dust cloud was huge as they tore off down the trail. We even got to see the space shuttle!

Thanks to all the MCC members for another great event! Special thanks to Charlie for cooridnating it all.
The pick up kids "marathon" race was a riot. Still have a pie eatin grin on my face seeing those photos. I told em the kid with the most laps by sundown wins. Never seen kids do 20+ laps of the infield course before! (-:
Amazing what coke and pixies stix in the feed zone can do for recovery and stamina.
Oh yeah, and watching them all stop in awe (with us adults) at the Space Shuttle landing piggy back into Offut, that was pretty cool too!
Top ten day. Reminds me why I enjoy this sport so much. Thanks again to all who helped out!
