I like the two tone paint jobs - almost too nice to get dirty and scraped up.
The Remedy looks like the downtube comes out horizontally from the seat post a ways before angling up to the top tube.
Seems the horizontal piece would act as a lever and increase the stress on the welding in the bb area. Is this for form or are there functional reasons for it?
i think its done to make enough room for a long stroke shock. if anything it may add strength rather than take away. At least i hope so. You will see very similar bb junctures and downtube shapes on Specialized, and the newly redesigned Giant Trance and Reign (cant decide which one i will buy yet-- moab 2008 bike!)
