Cosmo sent me some info on the Seven Oaks 12/24 going down over Labor Day weekend. You might not want to miss this one. The $1000 first place prize for solo is bound to bring out some of the best solo riders in the country. Not to mention the $250 first place for the 12 hour solo. Will the

Team Psycowpath, you guys only finished 5 minutes back of Chris Eatough, looks like you were riding in good company. Any thoughts of doing adventure races?
I think we're all about the bike. Well, Homey might have a different opinion since he's a climbing instructor too!
Team Psycow will not be at the Boone. Well, one quarter of us will be. Hot Pepper will be representin'.
Look out. He just got a new cross bike, too.
The course at Boone is pretty cool. Lots of climbing. The event is done very well. They put reflectors on the trail which helps at night. Hopefully the coffee bus will show again. This dude has a VW bus that he drives to events and serves cafination to all all night.
The first time we did this, they had a live band play for a couple hours. Good times!
I've always wanted to do the 7 oaks deal, but every labor day I lead a backpacking class out in Rocky Mountain Naitonal Park (tough assignment, but someone has to do it). Means I miss the Dakota 5-0 too. Adventure races are fun - Donnna & I and Brackenbury did the CSG last year & had fun.
