Rusty Has Left The Building!

I stopped by to say goodbye to Mike "Rusty" Resetar yesterday. Mike left Omaha yesterday to move to Denver. As most probably know mountain biking in the Omaha area would not be what it is today without all of his efforts. A founding member and the driving force behind THOR the past ten years. So, next time you ride any of the great trails we have to choose from in the area, give a thought to Rusty who left the way he worked, quietly and without fanfare. You'll be missed buddy.

Thanks for helping create and maintain trails to ride here. Hopefully, you'll have a bike friendly route to work, stores, etc., and local singletrack of course.

Change of house, job, getting married -- I think you two should have a few kids right away since this seems to be a pretty mellow time in your lives! But then the joys of parenthood might be too much blessing to handle.

Blessing? You should be at my house this a.m.

Of course I love them all.

Thanks buddy. You're the first guy who took me on a group MTB ride. Then dropped me. You will be missed. Can't wait to stay at your place during weekend getaways.

If a Nebraska Mountain Biking Hall of Fame is ever created, Mike deserves to be an inaugural member!
