Last chance before more snow. Long range forecast says Snow on Saturday. I'm calling out a Swanson TNR so we can all hit up the new trails and burn'em in nice and good like. Might actually feel kinda warm with a high of 43, but it cools off quick and with sunset being about five o'clock, well, you know where I'm heading with this. You know the drill. Meet @ 6, Ride @ 6:15. Did a lap with Radical Rick on Sunday, his computer said 5.2 miles per lap, pretty good little loop.
So let's see, snow on Saturday, good'ole Jim Flowers mentioned a potential 5 inches! That means one of two things Sunday, POLO or Skinny Ski's, or maybe both! T-bone's got the polo gear, I think he's been trying to get a group to meet around one o'clock. This might just be the week. I might have to bust out the snow wheels.
If you're sitting in front of the TV tonight around 8, click over to the weather channel, they're suppose to have a blip on winter cycling commuting.
On a long range note. Get out the 2008 planner and pencil in Labor Day weekend for the the Dakota Five-O. Rode a couple laps with the Professor the other week and it sounds like the Goatheads are in. The Minneapolis mafia had a huge group up there this last year but I think the Lincoln/Omaha crew was close behind. I'd like to take'em in 2008.

i am in town! see you there!
Hey all! If you're not into the snow games - we're having a trail work day in St. Joe for a new trail that promises to be of Platte River proportions. We already have a little over 2 miles done and are looking for a total of about 7 or 8 by the time it is done.
If any one is interested in turning some dirt or hacking some underbrush this Saturday, we would LOVE to have you.
Call if interested - Lansen: 816-752-2025.
