I think it shows responsibility and continuing a tradition. With Rusty bowing out a couple years ago, Mod and Ryan sort of co-call the location now. Mod didn't post anything so Ryan did.
As you know, this is the old BBC Thursday night ride, Ryan was part of that as was Shim. Ride still going but most of the old faces show only now and then or not at all.
Though we usually eat afterwards, anyone is welcome to ride and skip the meal. Last time at Jewell, La Mesa was the eats. That or something else is fine.
BBC Thursday night ride? My brain keeps thinking 'British Broadcasting Company', but something tells me that isn't right. Can you enlighten us new faces?
I am of the nature to grow old. There is no way to escape growing old.
I am of the nature to have ill health. There is no way to escape ill health.
I am of the nature to die. There is no way to escape death.
All that is dear to me and everyone I love are of the nature to change. There is no way to escape being separated from them.
My actions are my only true belongings. I cannot escape the consequences of my actions. My actions are the ground upon which I stand.

Chris, BBC was the Benson Bike Club. Now disbanded. It was the catalyst for many great things. The crew is still around, you just have to dig below the surface.

I'm glad RF's throwing out the options, I haven't been into blogging much lately.
Mod, thanks, one of these days we need to sit down and document the stories from some of the now defunct cycling teams. Snort,OBRC, BBC, Spyder Racing, & Ciao Baby Racing Club,(the original Papstien version)the list and stories would make a great novel.
Its good to see the Thursday night ride tradition staying alive, in the early days it was usually, Rusty, Dicky,GT, Aaron Pool,Tony, N., and me. The most memorable ride was a River Trails Ride in a blowing snow storm, 3 hours and 10 inches later we decided to pass on the grub.

"And I will Jealous" WTF man you are in La La Land!
i like how you call the shots for a bike ride hundreds of miles away. not like it matters to me but its still funny.
Thanks RF - will enjoy the ride, and some grub after ... anyone want to pick a place to eat?

Anybody know where this comes from? Or what it is a part of?

Is this a porn site?
You obviously didn't know the group I speak of very well. Dickie -aka "the Dickmiester", and Tony well if lets just say no comment.
