I rode Swanson Sunday morning at 7:30am. It was still frozen but was soft and slow! Someone rode Saturday and left deep tracks on every corner and incline. I know it was Saturday because I rode Nick's Rig on Friday night and Sunday morning. I has a blast on Friday(3 laps) and wanted to shift on Sunday and only rode 2 laps 1 each direction. I felt like I was sinking or had 2 flats.
Yeah, Swanson's not so fun now. The deep tracks are frozen now and throw you off in the corners. Apparently this person had a large pawed dog and a deer with him!! Ok, maybe the tracks happened at different times, but the trail is pretty messed up, in it's frozen state, in some places. The worst part is the downhill right before the big jump, next to the firefighter training place. You can't get any speed there because the frozen tire ruts pull you all over the place. Not cool.
I couldn't believe they rode a complete loop and f'd it all up. I'm sure they plan on fixing it. It defiantly will slow lap times down, and take away a lot of the fun lines. They also took the wood out off the old trail by the 1st new section.
Maybe it was one of those guys that were wining about closing the old sections off? Anyone want to claim it? I doubt it was a 1st time rider deciding to go for a spin on a icy wet day!

Muddy. Priod. Won't be rideable (in my humble opinion) unless it's below feezing for a little while.
