I got out for my first TNR of 2008. The group was huge. Shim and I. We headed out from casa Shimonek at the prescribed time and proceeded out Capehart. None of our 4 legs were feeling too fresh so tempo was moderate. We did manage to find plenty of 4 legs that were fresh. 3 aussie sheep dogs, 1 mutt, 1 german sheppard and 1 golden lab kept us on our toes at various points along the route. Ankle biting had been avoided, maybe the moustache keep them at bay. Sure would be nice to ride some singletrack. Maybe next week, if not, I've got a surprise route.
