Ride of Silence

I participated in this ride last year with a co-worker who lost his brother in a cycling/car accident and we are riding again this year. Just thought I would put it out there because the turn out was just so-so. It is a great opportunity to keep up the momentum of all the talk about bicylces sharing the streets with cars. It is also a perfect ride for newer cyclists and family members that might not ride as much.

The Bellevue Bicycle Club invites you to participate in the metro area Ride of Silence. The ride will start at the 36th Street access lot to the Keystone Trail (behind Culvers) in Bellevue at 7pm on Wednesday, May 21. The ride will be on local streets and will have a motorcycle escort from the Bellevue Police Department. Total length of the ride will be 9 miles. Visit the Bellevue Bicycle Club website for more information. Helmets are required.
