Full Moon Ride, Thursday 7pm Wabash

It's not looking so good:(

Full Strawberry Moon - June. This name was universal to every Algonquin tribe. However, in Europe they called it the Rose Moon. Also because the relatively short season for harvesting strawberries comes each year during the month of June . . . so the full Moon that occurs during that month was christened for the strawberry!

If you're not riding at Tranquilty come join us on the Wabash. We'll meet at the Wabash Trailhead around 7pm and roll to Silver City (14 miles each way). Moonrise is set for just after 9pm so it should be a great ride back from SC. When the sun is high the moon is low so don't miss this one. It's gonna be HUGE!!! I'll be bringing an adult Strawberry beverage in honor of the Strawberry Moon:)

Just watched the weather and it looks like it's going to storm till 9. Anyone want to do an urban ride after 9?
