The Bob Kerry Bridge opens this Sunday. The City of Council Bluffs needs volunteers to help with the grand opening , parking , wristband registration for a lottery to see who gets to cross the bridge first. Among other things. They are looking for bike clubs, shops or individuals. If you can help contact Cati DeMasi @ 328-4650 or cdemasi@councilbluffs-ia.gov

FYI, the Omaha-side of the bridge is NOT going to be open until later Saturday afternoon (approx. 3 pm), this according to a Sep. 24 article in the Omaha World-Herald.
