Today was my first time on singletrack for 09.
Rode through Standing Bear Lake to Tranquility. Hit enough ice on the North Loop, figured the trees would be worse so I only rode the South Hill side and back through SBL for home.
One place in SBL was shear ice on a slight grade where even careful pedal strokes spun the studded tire but still rideable. Busted a couple snow drifts to boot.
With the light accumulation last night, wanted to ride the cement trail before they plowed them.
