Film Streams & Activate Omaha Present 1979 Classic BREAKING AWAY
Bicycling advocate and former Omaha planning director Marty Shukert to lead post-show discussion
On Thursday, July 9, at 7pm, Film Streams and Activate Omaha will present a special collaborative screening of director Peter Yates' 1979 coming-of-age classic BREAKING AWAY, with a post-show panel discussion on transportation in Omaha following immediately afterward. The talk will be led by bicycling advocate and former Omaha planning director Marty Shukert.
Tickets for the BREAKING AWAY screening and discussion are on sale now at the box office inside Film Streams' Ruth Sokolof Theater (14th and Webster) and online at www.filmstreams.org. Tickets are $8 general admission, $6 for seniors, students and teachers, and $4 for Film Streams Members.
