TNR for Oct 15

Well, what can I say..... this is supposed to be the best time of year for relaxed singletrack rides... sunsets, colorful leaves, and just enough crisp to the air to warrant armwarmers.... not full on tights and rain jackets.

Trails will be too wet Thursday night but temps are expected to hit a week-record high of 48 tomorrow.  So I'm gonna pound some pavement.  Ride will meet at Wohlners, 66th & Center, at 6pm, rollout at 6:10pm.  Bring commuter lights (or bigger).  Here's our route.  We'll go north on Keystone first.  Mostly flat spin with a couple hills in the middle.  Pace expected to be relaxed to moderate.  Food to follow, perhaps at Blue Planet.

Sounds like fun! I wish I could join you, but I have some other obligations this evening.

Blue Planet is very welcoming of their bike customers, and I would vote for eating/drinking there, if I were along. Blue Planet has recently installed a bike rack, is hosting the Bike Omaha Advocacy Team meetings, and may be considering offering discounts to cyclists in the future.

Here's a secret. Inside the restaurant, near the back area, around the corner from the condiments, is a shelf with some coupons on it. Perhaps you could send someone back to grab a few coupons before placing your orders.
