Can You Help a Friend in Need?
If anyone has a really old MTB in great condition that they would like to sell let me know. I have a friend who wants to get into the sport, but only has about a $300 budget. The photo attached to this post has nothing to do with my friend. It just a shameless ploy to get your attention. :-DDD

Nice effort with the puppy, if you post a pony I might have one your friend can borrow . How tall is he/she?
He's 5'11'' -- Don't know if that height is pony-compatible!
shim, you're a nice guy, no matter who says otherwise.
He can borrow my Rocky Mountain, its a little old, but its functional and a better ride than anything he could get for $300. If he likes riding than he can make a educated decision before dropping some cash.

This Giant hardtail on Craiglist looks like it might be pretty decent. $250 OBO.
