Why remove leaves from the trail, when they build up the soil? Is it that hard to find your way?

It is harder to see the roots and other tread features, I sliced my shin last week on the tnr at Swanson.

I like the leaves because it makes the trails less familiar, more difficult. I have to look more closely, which usually means ride slower. Coupled with night riding, the leaf covered trails provide a very different experience than the summer afternoon rides. And the best thing about Fall and Winter - no weedwacking!!!
