why we do what we do

because racing your bicycle is fun! Even after you busted a chain, walked back to the pits, got it repaired, then kept going.

Whatever, we did not go all the way down there to have a good time.
BTW, was it a sram hollowlink?

sram quicklink. i should've seen the signs of a bad quicklink a week ago when i installed chain. lesson learned.

Why do we race you ask? For the good times, of course!

how do you tell if the quick link is bad?

the quicklink went together way too easily. Usually it takes some effort for it to "pop" into place. This one took no effort. Der tension pulled it together. I shouldve been suspicious.
